Frankly speaking, I ain’t a horror fan. I don’t like horror stories, horror movies or even horror talks. Ghost talks and movies really scare the hell out of me. But there is something about the horror games that just drives me nuts. Doom, Alone in the Dark, House of Death, Resident Evil are in the list of my favorite games and strangely I don’t feel even a bit scared while playing these games. The reason even I don’t know. It must be the enjoyment that I get when I slay those ghosts and zombies.
Well, the next on my list is Resident Evil BIOHAZARD 5. Resident Evil is Capcom’s popular survival horror series (debut in 1996) consisting of comic books, novelizations, Hollywood motion pictures, and a variety of collectibles, including action figures, strategy guides and publications. I have played all its previous series and am so desperately awaiting its fifth series. I just watched the video interview with Resident Evil 5’s Chief producer Jun Takeuchi in Capcom’s Blog and I can’t explain how ecstatic I was. In addition to the interview, the video include a brief introduction into the history of the Resident Evil series, many first-ever shots of actual gameplay, and also includes some behind the scenes development sneak peeks. This game surely will be a smash hit among the gamers. I too can’t wait to get my hands on this Resident Evil series.
