I’ve been telling a lot about how internet is growing in size lately and how millions of websites are being launched everyday. Every business house or a person has or is on its way to publish a website. Also, the common trends nowadays are mobile sites often called as WAP (Wire Access Protocol) sites. Mobile site are similar to websites but as they have to be viewed in mobiles and PDAs, their size is reduced to fit the screen of the cell phones. Of course your mobile has to be WAP enabled and then only you can browse the pages from any corner of the world.

Even for people who are into web-designing, it might be confusing on how to make a WAP site. What special programming skill is needed (WAP sites are written in WML-Wireless Markup Language)? How to make the page appear full screen on every mobile and things like that? Well, programmers might read the syntax and create such site but for novices it might be a little difficult. There is a solution though for all this - Mobilemo which has come up with an innovative, user-friendly platform enabling people to create and manage their very own mobile sites the way they like it.

setup-page.gif

The site is very interactive, easy to use, with each step briefly discussed and with lots of possibilities towards design and innovatong making it effortless for even a newbie to create a mini-website that actually reflects your interest and personality for your mobile phones. But though the site is simple, its end products are not. Your mobile site doesn’t have to plain text WAP site. The customizable color schemes, background templates, image insertion and other tools available here make sure that your mini-site is as attractive and flashy as web pages that one sees over the PC.

Mobile sites are the new ways to express you intentions, advertisement, promotions and marketing. So, its better you go with the flow before you’re behind everyone else. Start with something really small for now, think big for future.

When mobile was invented or even better imagined, the first person who invented it or thought about it the first time, even he never must have imagined in his wildest dreams that mobiles will ever reach the heights and popularity that it has reached now. Today mobiles have grown up into full-fledge multi-purpose gadget in which you can listen to music, see and capture photos and record videos, surf over the internet, keep schedules of your daily task, chat with friends, transfer files and do numerous other things. Why mobile were actually built was to make phones portable & movable but it has come a long way than just being a movable communicating device in your pocket.

One of the essential and attractive things that your mobile carries in my view is ringtones. I am just crazy for ringtones. I’ve got some of the craziest ringtones in my cell phone and I’ve assigned different tones for different peopleJ.

Anyways, I don’t want to discuss on their types and how they are created. If you wantringtones.gif such details you can simply download some ringtone making software over the net and then start making your own ringtones. Mobile Music Polyphonic, AVS Audio Tools 4.3 are some of the ringtone making and converting s/ws. But my view is that why to even bother on something when there are professional scratching their head already on it. Making ringtones is quite a tedious task. Instead, there are so many sites that are allowing you to download ringtones for you mobile phones, often free. People frequently complain that they couldn’t find the tones for their brand or carrier. Well good news for them, I just caught up this site called MyRingtonesHub.com from where you can choose and download ringtones and ringback tones for almost all the brands and carriers; even ringtones for iPhones which are usually hard to find. So, live my theory. Let the geeks do the work. You just enjoy your ringtones.

Today everywhere, anywhere, in the hands, in the pocket of every person there is a mobile phone. Mobile phones or popularly known as just mobiles have become not just a means of communication but also emerged as a fashion component nowadays. People from all age group, sex, economy carry a mobile with them for many different purposes rather than just for talking on the phones.

People have started to make a lot of expectations with mobiles, and mobile technology has also proven itself to the expectations of the people. Mobile technology has come a long way since its inception. Today, there are very less things now that you can’t do with a mobile but do with your computer. Playing games, listening to music, taking photos/videos, recording, surfing in the internet, organizing your schedule any many more features are packed in your small cell phone and these are the things that you need to consider while buying a mobile phone which can be a very annoying task as the options are unlimited in front of you. Also due to the price variation of different models in different shops and emergence of cheap quality mobiles in the market, shopping for mobile for some is just too irritating.

For those, I want them to check out iMobilePlaza.com which is an online cell phone wholesaler/retailer from Indonesia with a huge collection of the most popular and the best mobile phones around. Here, you can find phones manufactured by Apple, HP, HTC, Blackberry, Dopod, Eten, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola, Siemens, LG, PalmOne, O2, Benq-Siemens and Vertu. Price is very competitive with other online shops that I’ve checked out. My personal favorite is Vertu Ascent about which many may not know but is one of the most expensive mobiles around.

Ascent is made of ceramic, stainless steel and a durable alloy called Liquidmetal, finished with hand-sewn leather and a screen of sapphire crystal, a material second only to diamond in hardness.

Its price is whooping $4,236.00 at iMobilePlaza. I hop to buy it some day. Till then I’ll just do window shopping.

youtub1.jpgHave you heard about YouTube? It’s the world’s largest video sharing website that holds together more than 60 million videos. Recently it has announced its intention to extend its coverage to a larger range of mobile device, in order to allow more than 100 million users to browse the website via their mobile phones. Now onwards YouTube will be accessible from select handsets made by Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola and LG, besides the phones that already have YouTube capabilities. All phones must be 3G enabled ones and, in order to avoid high charges, it’s better for users to have unlimited data plans. Note that as stated on the site’s homepage: “YouTube Mobile is a data intensive application”, so high amounts of data are transferred when browsing from a mobile phone.
In addition to expanding the range of mobile phones that can access the site, YouTube is also preparing software that will be embedded into phones like Nokia and Sony Ericsson to enable an easier and direct video upload, in order to rapidly increase the site’s content. The improved Mobile YouTube also brings new stuff, mostly related to personalization features and new community options. YouTube’s mobile-product will have the full YouTube desktop experience on our mobile phones. Of course, limited by the handsets’ screens, which are quite small when compared to a desktop PC display.
However, having access to the most popular video library while on the go is definitely a great thing for most mobile users, and YouTube expects its mobile traffic to increase substantially. Most probably, after the traffic increases, we will see Google ads on the Mobile YouTube site. The YouTube Mobile site with extended phones compatibility will be available in 17 countries and 11 languages, bringing its huge base of videos to more and more mobile users.

Whenever you think mobile phones are getting a bit boring, or you want to see the new possibilities, or what’s going to happen in the next few years, there’s only one place to look: Japan. All are familiar with the Japanese technology. Let me introduce you all to its new innovative product. But I am not sure whether this product has been launched or not. Japan has developed of special cell phones that are useful for hearing impaired people. It’s the Sanyo FS41!

This Japanese technological mobile phone transmits sound waves by causing the cochlea of your ear to vibrate allowing you to hear the call in your head instead of your outer ear drum. In the simple words, it transmits sounds from the caller to the receiver in the form of vibrations which the H.I. person can understand. The phone which sends vibrations to simulate sounds in your ear drums is made by Sanyo. They termed the technology “Sonic Speaker”.

You can find more info on the URL I posted, if you can read japanese. http://www.tu-ka.co.jp/line_up/ts41.html. Maybe you can check with this cellular phone company which has all the latest cellular phones from Japan which have the best mobile services. http://www.jcrcorp.com.
