You may not be an amnesia patient but still this may happen to you if this can happen to me. I hadn’t kept any screen lock thinking that it sounds ridiculous to have a password when and who needs password anyway. Well, that was until today when I lend my iPod Nano to my cousin to listen. He has a little problem actually. He doesn’t like to read so while wandering around the menus he accidentally went to Screen Lock and also accidentally set a password which he didn’t know what he kept and after that it was all history. I was so angry but if had had kept the password then probably this situation might not have arrived.

So, here I was trying to Google out the way to unlock my iPod … but in vain. In many blogs and websites I read that “restarting the iPod might do the trick” and in many I also read that one can connect iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes - when you disconnect your iPod from the computer, it should no longer be locked. None worked and I was left with no other choice than restoring my iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Thank God, it worked. Obviously, it erased all my data on the iPod but still I am happy that I got my iPod back to work.

Now, that I went through all the troubles, the moral I got from this whole little incident is that it’s better you put a lock on your iPod before someone else does.

There are so many different types and brands of mp3 and media players but there is no doubt that iPod is the most popular & portable media player out there in the wild. With its different and innovative product line-up (iPod classic, iPod touch, the iPod nano and the screen less iPod shuffle), it has been able to attract attention of the customers and rise to the competition. Not only has it got different product line-up but it has got a wide selection of various iPod accessories which make this Apple masterpiece even better.

However, some of the accessories are so weird and hilarious that one can’t stop from being amazed. I read this review about Top 10 Strangest iPod accessories on Gadgets-Reviews.com and all I could do was stand opening my mouth wide open. The most hilarious accessory I found was iBox. Well, believe me or not this is nothing but simple boxers with a small pocket for your iPodJ. Now don’t ask me why one should ever need to wear iPod in his pants. May be just for fun. iPod DJ Docking Station is the coolest one though. With it your iPod will become a DJ. It will even scratch the turntable in the rhythm of your tunes. Just plug your iPod Video in it and watch you favorite player to come alive. Well, these were just some of my favs. The actual list is:
