The wait is over and July 11 is today. Today Apple’s 2nd generation iPhone 3G will be released in dozens of countries worldwide. The launch started in New Zealand and Japan on Friday. The first to get the opportunity to get this so called revolutionary device were the New Zealanders when reportedly three stores opened the sale just after midnight. The Japanese were the second who followed just after a short while. It’s releasing in several other countries today and in many others soon. Right now it will be available only in Apple Retail Stores and AT&T stores.
I haven’t got the chance to get a close look at this much-hyped iPhone 3G but rumors tell that this is lighter than the first gen one and is twice faster while the price is just $199 (half the price of the 1st Gen iPhone). I’m sure the buyers of the 1st Gen must be banging their head on the wall. Anyways Apple products are always overestimated but later they go puff. Hope the same doesn’t happen with this iPhone too. Ahh!!! I forgot one thing. Congrats to Apple on the release on iPhone 3G and best of luck on it’s sale.

Gosto de criar celular toques para o meu celular” - I love creating ringtones for my mobile (I’ve been trying to learn Portuguese lately). It’s one of my hobbies and passion. During my leisure time, it’s what I do and what entertains me the most (after playing basketball). Well, before I didn’t knew about those cool software that are used make ringtones, I used to record voices and sounds and use them as ringtones in my mobile. Some of my created recordings were really crazy and popular among my friends. So, you can see that you don’t really need any type of expertise to create ringtones. All you need is a little bit of creativity and also you’ve gotta be a little crazy too. After all a ringtone is just the sound made by a telephone to indicate an incoming call, isn’t it? How you create a ringtone, doesn’t matter if it strikes your ear drum.

free-ringtones.gifYou can use softwares though if you really want to be a professional ringtone maker. Some of the softwares you can use are Mobile Music Polyphonic, Oxygen Ringtone Workshop, MAGIX Ringtone Maker and the Ringtone Converter. Also there are online tools too which you can use to create ringtones from any of your favorite song. MakeOwnRingtone.com, Mobicious.com, Mobile17.com are some of the such popular online tools. But if you think that you are lazy enough to create your own ringtones then “Você pode baixar toques gratis facilmente”. Opps!!! It means you can easily download ringtones for free. Just a quick search over your favorite search engine and WALLAA…a never ending list of sites will appears from where you can download ringtones without spending a penny out of your pocket or your brain too.

There are so many different types and brands of mp3 and media players but there is no doubt that iPod is the most popular & portable media player out there in the wild. With its different and innovative product line-up (iPod classic, iPod touch, the iPod nano and the screen less iPod shuffle), it has been able to attract attention of the customers and rise to the competition. Not only has it got different product line-up but it has got a wide selection of various iPod accessories which make this Apple masterpiece even better.

iboxer_1.jpgHowever, some of the accessories are so weird and hilarious that one can’t stop from being amazed. I read this review about Top 10 Strangest iPod accessories on Gadgets-Reviews.com and all I could do was stand opening my mouth wide open. The most hilarious accessory I found was iBox. Well, believe me or not this is nothing but simple boxers with a small pocket for your iPodJ. Now don’t ask me why one should ever need to wear iPod in his pants. May be just for fun. iPod DJ Docking Station is the coolest one though. With it your iPod will become a DJ. It will even scratch the turntable in the rhythm of your tunes. Just plug your iPod Video in it and watch youipod-dj.jpg favorite player to come alive. Well, these were just some of my favs. The actual list is:

  1. Wurlitzer’s iPod Jukebox
  2. Tunebuckle
  3. iPod “ChairMan” Speakers
  4. iPod DJ Docking Station
  5. iPod Nano Thong Case
  6. iPod Nano Wallet
  7. iPod Compatible Bed
  8. iBox
  9. iLounge Toilet Paper Dispenser
  10. iBuzz

I’ve always loved freebies. Well, who doesn’t? Even If I got money to pay for that thing, still I would prefer a discount but a free stuff is even more preferable. I mean why would anyone ever pay for anything if he/she can get it for free, isn’t it? This has always been my motto and this is why I’m constantly looking for free stuffs over the internet.

iphone-for-fre.jpgFew months ago, I visited a link which was passed to me by a very dear friend of mine and it was about winning a free iPhone. It was basically referral marketing which I did mentioned in an article named Get an IPHONE For Free too. All I had to do was complete an online offers and then refer it my friends (An iPod Shuffle would typically require just two referrals) who are again willing to complete the offers. This way I’d be eligible to win a free Apple iPhone. I did so but at that time I wasn’t pretty much sure if I’d ever win an iPhone for free or if I even had an chance. All the time I thought that it’s all fake and I didn’t quite believed it. But is it sheer luck or God really loves me or what, just a couple of day ago an iPhone knocked at my doorstep. I was the lucky winner to win a free Apple iPhone. Yeppie !!! The iPhone was all mine. I didn’t have to pay anything, no contracts, no nothing.

The joy is so overwhelming and how can I not share my joy with my readers. If you too want an iPhone but don’t have money to pay for it, you’ve come to the right place folks. Just complete some offers and refer to your mates. Who knows, next knock on your doorstep might be an iPhone.

I have written about online storage and back up provider IBackup a couple of months ago in the post titled Online Storage and Backup. Briefly, online storage means storing your data online somewhere in remote servers so that it can be retrieved anywhere anytime and even in cases your data is lost in your PC, it can be backed up from the online source. IBackup as I’ve already mentioned in my previous post is a leading Online Storage and backup for small businesses.

Recent enhancements include ‘IBackup for Mac’ which is a desktop client build for Mac. But the latest news is that IBackup has been optimized for the iPhone device too with its introduction of ILite. It’s the newest feature that has been added by IBackup just for handheld devices like iPhone, Blackberry, PocketPC and Treo. With ILite, you can access and share data while on the move using your iPhone and other handheld devices. This way it’s much more flexible than before as you are even able to download and open your word, excel and text files and view images in your iPhone, Blackberry or whatever. Cool!!! Huh? I think so too. You can just browse ilite.com on your handheld device and login to your IBackup account to access your data. Easy as it can get.

ILite features:

  • Easy navigation between folders
  • Provision to share your files/folders with associates
  • Provision for your associates to view the shared files/folders on their iPhone/handheld devices

Today everywhere, anywhere, in the hands, in the pocket of every person there is a mobile phone. Mobile phones or popularly known as just mobiles have become not just a means of communication but also emerged as a fashion component nowadays. People from all age group, sex, economy carry a mobile with them for many different purposes rather than just for talking on the phones.

People have started to make a lot of expectations with mobiles, and mobile technology has also proven itself to the expectations of the people. Mobile technology has come a long way since its inception. Today, there are very less things now that you can’t do with a mobile but do with your computer. Playing games, listening to music, taking photos/videos, recording, surfing in the internet, organizing your schedule any many more features are packed in your small cell phone and these are the things that you need to consider while buying a mobile phone which can be a very annoying task as the options are unlimited in front of you. Also due to the price variation of different models in different shops and emergence of cheap quality mobiles in the market, shopping for mobile for some is just too irritating.

For those, I want them to check out iMobilePlaza.com which is an online cell phone wholesaler/retailer from Indonesia with a huge collection of the most popular and the best mobile phones around. Here, you can find phones manufactured by Apple, HP, HTC, Blackberry, Dopod, Eten, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola, Siemens, LG, PalmOne, O2, Benq-Siemens and Vertu. Price is very competitive with other online shops that I’ve checked out. My personal favorite is Vertu Ascent about which many may not know but is one of the most expensive mobiles around.

Ascent is made of ceramic, stainless steel and a durable alloy called Liquidmetal, finished with hand-sewn leather and a screen of sapphire crystal, a material second only to diamond in hardness.

Its price is whooping $4,236.00 at iMobilePlaza. I hop to buy it some day. Till then I’ll just do window shopping.

The first time I heard about iPhone before its release, I guessed that it has to be something like a hybrid of iPod and mobile phone. Later after the released, my speculation really came true. It really was a cross between iPod and mobile phone. This phone was supposed to bring a revolution in the world of mobile technology but due to different controversies (which is usual in all Apple’s product) like network tie-ups, software incompatibility, high price it couldn’t be that much popular amongst the people.

Still iPhone in my view, is one of the best engineered mobile phone and I’d love to get my hands on it (after I’ve unlocked it). Apple has been continually trying to improve and addsdk.gif more and more features in its iPhone to make it acceptable by the people. It has come up with different iPhone accessories and other related products like iPhone cases, books, softwares, etc. Also it has been planning for many other future surprises. If you in any way want to have any kind of information on iPhone, its accessories and others related stuffs, I’m sure you’d get it on iPhoneFreak.com. It is a complete and independent provider of information about Apple’s iPhone, iPhone accessories and related products. I too get my daily dose on iPhone from this site. I really think its good update yourself with any information that you can get about anything.

There are numerous online cell phones stores that you can find over the internet but that one place where all the big names with all kinds of mobile phones can be found is pretty hard to find.

PureMobile.com though can be just the place if you are looking for such a store where you can choose between varieties of cell phones without caring about it being tied to some specific network. It’s the perfect shopping store which has detail information about all kinds of cellular phones and accessories with their images and price tags. You can find htc-touch-cruise1.jpglatest unlocked GSM cell phones, smartphones, PDAs, iPhones together with different extra mobile accessories as well, in cheaper price than in any other stores. Since, its cell phones are GSM unlocked, they can operate in any networks without being bound to any contracts. All the biggest brands names from Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, and Sony to LG cell phone are included here along with Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth car kits, batteries, chargers, data cards, data cables, fun gadgets, remote unlocking, and numerous others accessories.

The shopping is easy and secure with eBay, yahoo, PayPal. It is Cnet certified store with live store guaranteed. You can also return your purchased product back within 10 days if you feel that it’s not the right stuff for you. PureMobile does not have any physical retail stores though. It is a complete online retailer of cell phones and accessories – one of the main reasons of its price being cheap and very competitive. Its services are fast and reliable and the Live Online Customer Service is available in working days from 10.30am to 4.00pm [EST]. Also it has online order tracking system so you know where your order has reached. No customs and duty fees are charged while ordering products online, which is a plus factor.

I got my eyes stuck to HTC touch phones at PureMoblie. Check to see what strikes your eyes.

Something common with all Apple’s product is that it tries to tie you up with Apple for lifetime. And this goes with Apple’s iPhones too. Well actually with phones and services, it has almost been like a law in US…. of tying with each other. This has made it really difficult for consumers like us to get the phone that we want with the service we want. So, if you want an iPhone you are bound to use AT&T/Cingular. And believe me fellows; this service isn’t that cheap – one of the main reasons behind sales of iPhones not increasing.

So, what does a person like me who is crazily in love with iPhone does? I look for someone who can unlock iPhone so that I can use it with any Simcard and any network. Iphone-Sim-Unlock.com is one of the sites that guarantee unlocking your iPhone within minutes. I am yet to use their services but after doing my own little research, I pretty much convinced that their solution is effective, easy to use, safe and works for any version of iPhone. Also the plus point is that if you become a member, you get lifetime support and updates. In anyway though, I don’t think $29 is much of a price to pay for the joy of having your own iPhone.

Anything free is always good and if that free thing is something is really cool and an expensive electronic gadget like an “IPHONE”, it’s even better. I actually have been planning to get an iPhone myself but I quite haven’t been able to afford one. So, I was looking for an iPhone for a discounted price when suddenly I hit upiphone.jpgon this link that gives you an easy way to get registered for a free Apple iPhone. It just needs you to follow 3 simple steps and that’s it. Have your fingers crossed and who knows if luck favors, an iPhone might knock at your doorstep sooner than you can imagine. And the cool thing is it’s a contract free iPhone, means no contract …you win it, you simply get it…it’s yours. But don’t just stick with an iPhone; there are several other things that you can get here….all for free. So, if iPhone is not what you’re looking for, you can either choose from Plasma TV, desktops, Notebooks or an iPod.

All guys likes iPod, its music is awesome. But most of them must have felt that it’s a tiresome job to take out your iPod from the pocket every time you want to skip the playing song and switch to next track or even increase/decrease the volume. I always wished if I had some kind of supernatural power to do such things with a single thought. Just a thought in my mind and tracks and volume gets changed. And when I heard about the amazing cool gadget called “iRing”, it’s like my dreams came true.

It’s not a supernatural power, but just a power of modern technology. iRing is a just like a normal ring that fits in your finger but the amazing thing is that it provides you with wireless connections to any of your Apple media devices like iPod and iPhone within a maximum range of 10 meters. iRing has got a bright OLED status display with touch-sensitive function strip. Tap the Apple icon to toggle between Play and Pause functions. Tap the touch strip to the left or right to the Apple icon to skip the previous or next song respectively. Slide your finger across the touch sensitive surface to control the volume. Now you just need a second to switch between music tracks, increase/decrease volumes, stop, play and pause the track without taking your iPod out of your pocket. To lock the ring from unintentional commands, bond your ring finger to squeeze the tow rubber pads. Also, when you buy one, you will also get the iRing charger to recharge its battery. Battery life goes up to 2 days once it is charged.

Have an engagement with Apple through wearing iRing. It’s the coolest, stylish techno gadget you want to wear wherever you go. But bad news, it can get connected with only one device at a time. You can connect with any Apple devices but only one at a time. Overall, it is great stuff to buy. I am sure that people who love their iPod will love iRing too. This gadget would really make life a lot easier for iPod users and I am sure they will rush to get one of the iRing.
