A few years back Samsung created the Xacti line of sports camcorders which came with secondary lenses (one model even went wireless) and recorded directly to SD cards in MPEG4. Building on that base, Samsung’s new model ‘ Samsung i8’ is the latest in a line of hybrid cameras that not only shoot digital stills with 8.1 mega pixel resolution, but can also work as an music player (mp3 player) or a media player that shows movies in MPEG4 or DivX format. Along with this marvelous product, Samsung Converter software comes to allow you to encode any movie into the right format. Isn’t this product amazing? Now, you don’t need to take your i-pod with you. I am going to leave my i-pod at home after getting one.
What are really cool are its looks, color and style. You can see in figure; how appealing, fair and sexy it is. Sure you will get surprised when you would hear about its internal built-in memory. Its 200 MB. Wow! As well as you can extend it with SD memory card up to 16GB or more. But I think for pictures, its internal memory is quite enough. Now without external memory card also, don’t ever hesitate to click the pictures whenever and wherever you want.
After clicking the pictures, preview them in 2.7 inches big LCD screen. Thumbs up! Though the only one defeat is it is price, it’s too expensive i. e. $300.
