nokia-multimedia-converter.jpg

Multimedia files in mobile applications, such as multimedia messaging (MMS), are encoded according to either the 3GPP file format or the AMR/AWB storage format. Therefore, you must convert your existing multimedia files to the appropriate format before transferring them. Multimedia Converter 2.0 runs on Microsoft Windows™ 2000 (SP2) and XP (SP1). With Multimedia Converter 2.0 you can convert common multimedia file formats to 3GPP or AMR/AWB formats.Multimedia converter is used to convert common multimedia files (such as MPEG and AVI files) into multimedia file formats used in mobile applications (3GPP, AMR, AWB). Conversion of existing multimedia files to the appropriate format is needed before using them in mobile applications such as multimedia messaging (MMS).

Multimedia Converter includes console conversion tool (MMConverterCon.exe), which can be used to convert files from command line (useful for converting large number of multimedia files in a single batch). Start MMConverterCon.exe from command line with “MMConverterCon.exe -h” (or without any switches) to see the help message which describes shortly supported switches.

Multimedia Converter supports these file formats:

AVI

WAV

MPG (MPEG-1, MPEG-2)

NIM

MOV (Apple Quicktime)

MP3

MP4 (ISO MP4)

3GP (3GPP MP4)

AMR, AWB(WB-AMR)

The actual set of supported file formats depend on installed codecs (for example DivX AVI files can be played and converted only if DivX codec is installed).

NOTE: Some codecs are bundled with external software. For example codec for MOV -files is included in Apple Quicktime Player.

Remember, if all needed codecs are installed, but you cannot play the file in Multimedia Converter or in other programs, check that the file is not corrupted. If the file is playable in other programs, but not in Multimedia Converter, check that the file format is supported by Multimedia Converter 2.0. If the file format is not supported by Multimedia Converter, you must convert the file to some format supported by Multimedia Converter, if possible.

It is surprisingly ease to design a system that is logically completely secure by using UPNs and firewalls, but that, in practice, leaks like a sieve. This situation can occur if some of the machines are wireless and use radio communication, which passes right over the firewall in both directions. The range of 802.11 networks is often a few hundred meters, so anyone who wants to spy on a company can simply drive into the employee parking lot in the morning, leave an 802.11 enabled notebook computer in the car to record everything it hears, and take off for the day. By late afternoon, the hard disk will be full of valuable goodies. Theoretically, this leakage is not supposed to happen. Theoretically, people are not supported to rob banks, either.

Much of the security problem can be traced to the manufacturers of wireless base stations (access points) trying to make their products user friendly. Usually, if the user takes the device out of the box and plugs it into the electrical power socket, it begins operating immediately – nearly always with no security at all, blurting secrets to everyone within radio range. If it is then plugged into an Ethernet, all the Ethernet traffic suddenly appears in the parking lot as well. Wireless is a snooper’s dream come rue: free data without having to do any work. It therefore goes without saying that security is even more important for wireless systems than for wired ones.

mini-electric-car.jpg

Mitsubishi Motors Corp. President Osamu Masuko said his Tokyo-based auto maker will try to mass-market a small electric vehicle, intended as a “city commuter,” by 2010 and is also considering developing a “plug-in” gasoline-electric hybrid car that can be recharged by plugging it into a wall electric outlet. It is sure to drop down the rocketing comsumption of petrol Mr. Masuko said battery technology has advanced to the point. The Tokyo-based automaker showed off a mini test vehicle equipped with motors embedded in the rear wheels that run on a lithium-ion batteries.

The planned mini-electric car has a cruising range of 90 miles on a single charge and can be recharged in a regular home. The top speed is around 90 miles an hour. Mitsubishi is targeting housewives who drive to pick up children from school, go grocery shopping and won’t need to travel long distances, Adding that they are expected to enjoy owning a car that never needs to fill up at a gas station. Officials said the electric car will cost slightly more than a comparable gas-engine vehicle but they hope to keep prices down through Japanese government aid available for buyers of environmentally friendly cars. Although the price isn’t decided, it may sell for under $19,000, according to Mitsubishi Motors.

samsung-r410.jpgNokia, Motorola, LG are some of the renowned leading mobile companies of today’s. Still the date of today, MetroPCS is not well known as a manufacturer of stylish phones, but it seems like it’s going to change in near future. Because after looking and experiencing one of its latest products it has launched, you are going to thumb up with me. It has just releases its new latest mobile phone named SAMSUNG r410 in the marketplace. It appears to be quite an attractive as well as stylish and fancy. It seems to be like other normal mobile phones with normal size, weight, screen, number keypad, camera (VGA), Bluetooth etc.

But you will get surprised if you see handy and convenient QWERTY keyboard attached with it. Don’t think it’s too bulky like your PC keyboard. The exterior QWERTY keyboard is just hidden behind the interior number keypad. The QWERTY hidden keyboard slides out for easier text messaging, when you need to type faster and quicker in your phone. The other features are similar as your phone in your pocket. It’s another strong feature is that; it is too cheaper than any other same ranking cell phones i.e. $199 before any discounts. Isn’t it great? Hurry up, Order now!

opera.jpgThe Norwegian browser maker’s chief technology officer said “Microsoft Corp.’s refusal or inability to fully support three Web standards has cost Opera users”. Chief technology officer of the Oslo-based developer said “Microsoft participated in the development of standards, even promised to implement them, but their products contain both bugs and unimplemented features that create problems for other browsers, like Opera”. Therefore, Opera Software filed a complaint with the European Union’s antitrust agency, accusing Microsoft of stifling competition by tying its Internet Explorer (IE) browser to Windows, and by hampering interoperability by not following Internet standards. The listed core standards in the complaint include Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XHTML and Document Object Model (DOM). There are many more to be listed but they are enough. IE’s quirky support for those and other standards gives Web site designers and Web application developers fits. Developers must work around those bugs and undocumented features in IE because of IE’s high usage numbers. According to the latest data from Web metrics vendor Net Applications “IE, while off its peak market share, still accounts for more than 77% of all browsers used.” Naturally, site and Web app developers want to reach the largest audience, so if tweaks are necessary to make their work render or run properly, that’s what they do. That is the core claim that Microsoft’s lack of standards support has hurt Opera. Opera have been forced to decode the errors in IE and try to duplicate its rendering mode, so sites look good when viewed in Opera. Those efforts have not always been successful.

a-baby-myth.gifI just want you to ask a very interesting question? As you all have known, every human, even animals, do have latent capabilities. Scientists always showed their positive responses towards this very fact. If you know then when do you think a person does have their embryonic capabilities at the highest peak? You might answer in adult stage. The science with the help of latest technology has revealed the amazing answer to this question. And most of you might not agree with it. The answer is baby stage. A newly born baby between 8 months and one year old is usually perceived as nothing else but sweet and innocent, but the science with its amazing machine found this truth measuring the different stages of peoples’ brain of different peoples. During child period the brain has the highest dormant ability that the newborn would not have ever again in its entire life again. You won’t believe to the fact that a child can identify slight differences in pronunciation of a foreign languages that are even a mature cannot identify. It can also make out the differentiations between the faces of monkeys which, in the eyes of an adult, all look the similar. Using the latest measuring techniques, scientists are uncovering the incredible process of an infant’s growth.

The world’s most expensive phone number 6666666, having seven sixes, was auctioned for charity Friday, December 7, 2007 in Qatar which was sold for 10 millions Qatari riyals or £1.5 millions. The previous record holder was Chinese number 88888888, which sold for £270,000. The Cantonese word for eight sounds very similar to the word for rich. It was bought by Sichuan Airlines.

The number 666 has some interesting history. The weird world of numerology shows 666 as a holy in Judaism because it represents six directions – east, west, north, south, up and down. One interpretation makes 666 equal the summation of the Greek Numbering of the Arabic word “ELLAH” (synonym of Allah) which means “GOD”. And Viagra has a molecular weight of 666.7g/mol.

The first Apple Computer was sold for $666.66. The sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is w - so www shows how evil the internet is. In 1999, Intel marketed their Pentium 666 Mhz chip as 667 Mhz, conveniently rounding up. Some other wacky theories about the number 666 include Microsoft’s Bill Gates whose real name is William Henry Gates III, but he goes by Bill Gates III. By converting the letters of his name to the ASCII-values (which are used in computers) you will get the following:

B I L L G A T E S 3

66+73+76+76+71+65+84+69+83+3=666

Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin also convert into 666. (65=A, Z=90).

I don’t know why people believe in this nonsense numerology, but truly what I felt is that it’s the stupidest news I have ever heard. I think that they just wanted to get notice by doing something unique, something new. It’s not all about specific reason like holy Judaism or holy name of god but it is pure show off of the money and great seeking of the people’s attention. S/he wants to earn the popularity with his/her money powers. Why not, cause money talks honey baby. And I think its being a dirty competition of getting noticed now. I heard in some countries that these kinds of cell phone and license plates’ numbers are sold in black money. There are plenty of fools who wants to buy these kind of unique numbers though they are too expensive or three expensive. Hahahaha…..

block.gif“The number you are trying call is currently unreachable, please try again later”. This is the hearing we don’t want to listen when we make a call. This is the hearing you will listen when someone is our of network coverage i.e. Network busy. Or his mobile phone’s battery is down. But this might be great help to someone who wants to stay immune from incoming calls. Some people are very smart enough to do it themselves. Almost every mobile of today’s have facilities to block the incoming or outgoing (esp. Nokia and Motorola) whenever user wish to do. But, unfortunately they can’t block one specific number from whom they are trying to be immune. When they activate the service of blocking all incoming calls, not one of the numbers can be able to make him call. This facility is suitable for couple of situations only like meeting, attending exams, etc. But, what if you want to get unreachable from specific numbers or all the unknown numbers only? You can’t do it through the service mentioned above. Blocking your unknown numbers may cost you high losing other calls from you friends, families and offices numbers.

No problem, I’ve a solution for it. Handy BlackList is the stuff you need now! Get it install in your cell phone. And now you can specifically select the list of people you want to block the calls, or you can block the unknown numbers that are not in your mobile contact lists and stay out of their reach. They wouldn’t be able to make you calls unless you unblock them again.

The only disadvantage is that they can send you SMS instead, though you block them through BlackList software. But don’t worry at all; I’ve stuff for this problem. If you want to be untouched by messages (SMS, MMS) also, then install SmsSpam Manager in your mobile phone. It completely makes you immune of the person whose messages you are willing to block.

You can now completely stay away form the peoples you don’t wanted to get you call or SMS by these softwares… BLACKLIST & SmsSpam MANAGER!!! The person you blocked, no matter how smart he is, won’t be able to know that you are blocking him. Isn’t it great to be at safe side?

Whenever you think mobile phones are getting a bit boring, or you want to see the new possibilities, or what’s going to happen in the next few years, there’s only one place to look: Japan. All are familiar with the Japanese technology. Let me introduce you all to its new innovative product. But I am not sure whether this product has been launched or not. Japan has developed of special cell phones that are useful for hearing impaired people. It’s the Sanyo FS41!

This Japanese technological mobile phone transmits sound waves by causing the cochlea of your ear to vibrate allowing you to hear the call in your head instead of your outer ear drum. In the simple words, it transmits sounds from the caller to the receiver in the form of vibrations which the H.I. person can understand. The phone which sends vibrations to simulate sounds in your ear drums is made by Sanyo. They termed the technology “Sonic Speaker”.

You can find more info on the URL I posted, if you can read japanese. http://www.tu-ka.co.jp/line_up/ts41.html. Maybe you can check with this cellular phone company which has all the latest cellular phones from Japan which have the best mobile services. http://www.jcrcorp.com.
